TechStar, Inc. announces that the company's President, D. S. Brown, has agreed in principle to a long-term cooperation agreement with Shandong Construction Machinery Company (SCMC), Dezhou, Shandong Province China. During the two-day long meeting it was agreed that SCMC would produce TechStar products including Swivel Modular Expansion Joints, Bearing Systems and Seismic Devices. Mr. Brown was the guest of Mr. Hou Bing Cai, Managing Director of SCMC. The cooperation term is for ten years during which China will expand greatly its infrastructure requiring the technology that TechStar will provide to SCMC.

 The first cooperation was the production by SCMC of swivel joints for the Ji-He Expressway in Shandong Province. These joints were completed on time and to a quality not attained before in China. Over 100,000 km of expressway are to be built in Shandong Province between 2008 and 2020.
