Techstar hydrophilic seals provides excellent sealing in segmental tunnel lining ( both steel and concrete ) with pressure conditions from 10 to 15 bars. The seal expands upon contact with water and fills voids that contribute to the leakage of the liner. Volume increases of up to eight times are available. This feature assures a good watertight seal without the need of a high compression force.
