Galvanized Wire for Suspension bridges using Aerial Spinning
TechStar represents both Baosteel Ergang and Shanghai Pujiang Cable outside of China. Both of these companies are from Shanghai, China. The Wire is produced by Baosteel Ergang and Shanghai Pujiang produces the cables. Parallel wire is used as the main cable for all suspension bridges.
The cable is erected in one of two ways. The original way, as Roebling did it, is aerial spinning. Boasteel produces the wire in coils and this is then spun back and forth across the bridge over the towers and back to the anchorages until the cable is complete.
